Thoughtfully Designed Living Spaces
Step into a warm, inviting interior that has been curated for comfort and style. Kindly note that the property is not universally accessible, and some guests my struggle with the original 1890’s tight stair winders.
Ground Floor – Contemporary Kitchen & Utility Area
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances including an air fryer, gas hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washer-dryer. Prepare meals with ease using quality cookware and enjoy your morning coffee with complimentary Yorkshire tea, cafetière coffee, milk (let us know your preference), and more. Ambient LED lighting sets the mood, while a cosy two-seater and smart TV offer a casual space to relax.
Also on this level: a rainfall shower room with luxury toiletries and fluffy towels, a utility area with workspace, and direct access to the garden – ideal for alfresco dining or giving your four-legged friend a warm rinse with the outdoor dog shower.
First Floor – Elegant Lounge with Period Features
The spacious lounge showcases original Yorkshire stone flooring, exposed beams, and a wood-burning stove (starter log pack included) – creating a warm and atmospheric space for evening relaxation. Comfortable seating, entertainment, books, and board games make this a perfect spot to unwind. The sofa bed is prepared for bookings of five or six guests and features a memory foam topper for added comfort.
Top Floor – Boutique Bedrooms & Designer Bathroom
The principal bedroom features a supremely comfortable Emma mattress, stylish built-in storage, blackout blinds, and soft ambient lighting – perfect for restful nights. The second bedroom offers full-sized bunk beds, ideal for children or additional guests, with clever storage and considered lighting.
A contemporary family bathroom completes the upper floor, featuring a rainfall shower over a compact bath, luxury toiletries, and thoughtful fittings. Instructions for the intuitive digital bath controls are provided.
Practical Notes

Hear from our happy guests
The garden was excellent although we didn’t get to use it (due to other commitments of ours).
There is a good pub straight across the street and there are excellent local restaurants in the village.
